The program of this album consists almost entirely of original compositions by Turkish composers—most of the pieces are dedicated to Duo MARES and are recorded here for the first time.

In addition to the duo works, this release also features the world premiere recording of Devil’s Diary, a double concerto for viola, accordion, and symphony orchestra by Selim Doğru. It is a live recording of the world premiere, performed by the Anadolu Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Burak Tüzün on October 24, 2008.
