Dutch composer Nico Huijbregts has named his portait-cd after the piece “Falsche Tango”, which he composed in the year 2007 for the Duo MARES (Esra Pehlivanli, viola and Marko Kassl, accordion) – the piece is commissioned by the Performing Arts Fund NL.

The CD contains three more pieces – “Herbie rides again” for flute, alto saxophone and piano, “Dancing the Night Away” – an improvised piano-solo by the composer and “Sisyphos” for harmonium.
